Spooky-Mart
Spooky-Mart is a slice-of-life game that takes place in a world of monsters living peacefully chaotic lives. We take on a night shift in a horror-themed convenience store and serve customers to hopefully be employee of the year. I took on the role of prop/ character design and animation for this project.
Prop Concepts/ Final Product

I was in charge of prop design in the team and made every product, poster and item within the game. My goal was to immerse the players into the game through subtle worldbuilding and add in an individual charm to it. Since the game takes place in a scary yet casual setting, I wanted to add in a commercialized 'feel' and silliness to the items, which can imply the need and demands for these products in the world. I have had a lot of fun thinking these designs and they gave my team a good laugh. Additional items were made especially for character-specific events to trigger, so I also get an opportunity to design items a special character might like.
Character design

My team and I chipped in to make a special character each. I made this one here called Sally. Mae. B, the dancing dead. She is a skeleton spirit that resides by the beach. I made her out to be a solemn bounty hunter in her past life. But with all the time after death and heaps of money she garnered from her job, she became a fun-loving party animal and a peppy addict to adrenaline. She has a sunny and cheerful attitude unless you get on the bad side. She'd occasionally swing by the store to get party favours and try out new stuff she's never seen before.
