Flights of Fancy
Flight of Fancy is an animated pilot that follows two bottom-dwellers' journey to reach the high city above the skies. We were tasked to produce a trailer around one minute and parts of the pilot from the animatic. I took on several roles and was flexible enough to contribute to a little bit of everything.

Background Concepts
Character design
I was responsible for making the background concept art of the merchant's shop. To design this, I gave it a personal touch and thought about how the merchant would furnish the shop. He has a stoic demeanor but has a hidden gentle side that is not usually seen. He runs a shop that is not all that well-kept but has promising deals. To portray this, I have made the place look run-down and rustic. The walls and furniture are well-adorned by a mixture of products and his personal belongings. This concept is also made with the key style in mind, which has lot of sharp shapes and edges, along with angular shadows.
This started out as a style study and for me to get used to the leader's distinct style.
I made an original character out of what I have gathered and she loved it upon seeing it. She also made it into the character sheet and has become a side character in the series.
